Once Dropbox has finished downloading your project to local storage, you should see a green checkmark on the file. That will force Dropbox to download all of the contents of that folder to your Mac's local storage. You will want to select Smart Sync ▸ Local in the list of Dropbox services near the bottom of the menu that opens. Right-click or Control+Click on the folder where your Scrivener projects are stored. If using Dropbox to store your Scrivener projects on macOS Monterey, you may encounter an error stating that some of the project's files or contents are not accessible, or that the project " seems to be of an older format, but no binder.scrivproj file could be found inside it." These errors may indicate that you need to adjust your Dropbox Smart Sync settings so that your project is stored locally within your Dropbox folder rather than in online storage.įirst, please open up a Finder window and select your Dropbox folder in the left-hand sidebar.
